Industry Sprints
Deadline: 23:59, 30th April 2024 Industry Sprints dedicate small multidisciplinary teams of researchers to solve a commercially relevant research opportunity identified from within the research programme and prioritised by an industrial partner. Over a period of 6 to 18 months, researchers work closely on the challenge, meeting frequently to review progress and hone plans. Sprints give early career researchers an opportunity to lead a focused team across multiple institutions, and to connect with leaders from industry and academia. Faraday Institution Battery Ambassadors 2024 Deadline: 23:59, 12th May 2024 The Faraday Institution is looking to nominate a cohort of inaugural Battery Ambassadors, one per country, with the goal of further promoting battery technology and energy storage research and networking across sub–Saharan Africa, South Asia and the Indo-Pacific. This is in partnership with the Transforming Energy Access Learning Partnership (TEA-LP) as part of the Ayrton Challenge on Energy Storage (ACES). The vision is to create a strong Battery Network of professionals working in this sector, that will enable knowledge transfer and skill development that supports the advancement of the clean energy transition.
